Get Rid of Low TOEIC Scores
Once and For All

Study for the TOEIC test listening section on these pages and increase your comprehension of English and increase your vocabulary.  Are you looking for a way to study for TOEIC that is not so painful?   Look no further!  These pages can help you study and learn new vocabulary in a systematic way without straining your brain.

On the listening section of the TOEIC test, you must recognize the words you are hearing to understand the passages.  This takes practice.  You can practice here on these pages.

I have divided up 600 TOEIC level words into themed groups and will be writing stories for each group.  You can listen to the stories again and again to strengthen your ability to recognize the words in context.

Continuous practice listening to these stories
          will help

                     your general comprehension
                      so
you can think about the best answer
                  rather than
try to decipher the meaning of each answer first.

Look at the list of words for each story. Check the meanings of any words you don't know yet. Then look at the picture. Try to imagine what the story is about.

I strongly recommend shadowing to practice listening.  Listen to the stories, and repeat the story as you listen.  Do this out loud. If you are in a public place as you practice (library, train, etc) you may need to repeat the story in your head although this is not as effective.

For each themed group of words, practice listening (and shadowing!) ten times daily for a week.  At first, it will feel difficult.  Keep going. Near the end of the week, it will feel boring.  Keep going.  Practice solid for one week.  Then move on to the next group of stories.

We are always adding stories. Here is a list of the groups. Click on a link below to find the stories you want to practice today.
