Ruined Holiday

It was a very beautiful place they had chosen to get a week off . A cozy chalet at the foothills of the mountains, whose peaks were, in the middle of spring, still covered by a thick layer of snow. The flat, still water of the lake, looked like a magic mirror, reflecting the exuberant landscape. Next to the mountains, a coniferous forest sheltered a incredible variety of birds and small animals. The place's silence was an invitation to relax. After a long walking day, there was nothing better than to sit embraced in front of the fireplace, talking about their love and their plans for the future. These moments they would remember forever. Next day, should be a different one. The sun was shining more than ever, and sailing on the lake should be quite enjoyable. On the boat, they whispered, just do not to break the peaceful silence. Suddenly, Ellen got paralyzed and broke off. Simultaneously, she put her hand over Jason's mouth, cutting in his words abruptly. Widening her eyes, she pointed to the side of the boat. Not so far, a white, naked body was floating. It was a terribly, scary vision. They called the police immediately, and soon the place had turned into a caos, full of policemen, insvestigators and curious people. They had just two days off, and had to get back, after an endless interwiew with the police, reporters and a lot of photographers. What should be one of the best days in their lives, had turned out a nightmare.
