Four month have been passed

More that four months have passed and I have not received any reply. This was the first sentence in my letter I sent to the head office.
The head office received the letter and started to look into it. Actually, people in the head office did not like to bring up the subject of this letter and they wanted to contain it.
The head office broke up this issue by sending a letter of apology and they confirmed that they will send their decision by the end of this month. After I had received their reply, I dropped them a line and I informed them that I had no attention to set up their staff in trouble and I thanked him for quick answer.
