I take a daily English shower... well, maybe I should say I make one for my students to listen to. Now you can listen to my English too. I used to take a shower everyday in the morning when I lived in Canada.
Now, however, I live in Japan. I follow the Japanese routine, and take my shower at night, before going to bed.
What about your routine? When do you take a shower? Or do you prefer baths? Think about your routine as you listen to this Daily English shower of words. Be sure to look for words that you don't know and find their meanings, too.
Remember, don't read it everytime you listen! Just read it once every four or five times you shadow this story.

Taking a Shower.
Take your daily English shower everyday by practicing English listening.
If you think of listening as similar to standing in a shower of English words, you will not feel so bad if you cannot 'catch' them all. Don't worry catching all the words when you listen because I have included the script for you if you need to read it.
Shower
Phil likes to shower in the morning everyday. He read that the shower of water has a lot of negative ions in it, so it wakes you up in the morning, and makes you feel refreshed. He usually goes into the and turns on the hot water for a minute. He stands and looks at himself in the mirror while he waits for the water to get hot.
Then he adjusts the temperature with the cold water. Then he gets in a takes his shower. He keeps his cell phone by the shower in case he gets an important call from work. He likes to shower for about five minutes. That's enough to get clean and warmed up.
He always uses soap, with a special towel that makes the soap lather up good. He only shampoos once every two days because the shampoo dries out his hair.
Then he turns off the shower, reaches out for his towel, and dries himself while he's still in the shower. He dries his feet last, of course, then steps out onto the bathmat, and puts on his underwear. Then he is ready to dress and make breakfast.
