Bad marriage

by Suela
(Brazil)

Almost every day, Ann’s husband arrived drunk at home. She did not know what to do anymore. They had a lovelly two years old boy. He took after his father, and Paul loved him very much. But even so, Paul did not give up drinking. That day, Ann decided to cut his son off from his father, and took him to her mother’s house. When Paul arrived and saw that his son was not at home, he started tearing things up. Ann said to him that if he doesn’t cut it out , he would not see his son anymore. He became even angrier, took de car and went to the house of his mother-in-law, where he knew he would find his son. He broke into her house looking for him, and without even greeting her, went to the bedroom, where he found his son sleeping calmly. Regretful, he turned and left quickly. On his way back , desperate for what he had been doing with his family all those years, he drove speedly without thinking. Suddenly, in front of the car appeared a drunk man , and he ran over him. Later, in the hospital, he swore that he would never drinking again. Fortunately, the man was alive, but with both legs broken.

Here is my edited version:

Almost every day, Ann’s husband arrived home drunk. She did not know what to do anymore. They had a lovely two
year old boy. He took after his father, and Paul loved him very much. But even so,
Paul did not give up drinking.

That day, Ann decided to cut her husband off from his son, and
took him to her mother's house. When Paul arrived and saw that his son was not home, he started tearing things up.
Ann said to him that if he didn’t cut it out, he would not see his son anymore. He became even angrier, and took the car
and went to his mother-in-law's house, where he knew he would find his son. He broke into her house looking for
his son, and without even greeting his mother-in-law, went to the bedroom, where he found his son sleeping calmly.
Regretful, he turned and left quickly.

On his way back, desperate because of what he had been doing with his family all those years, he drove speedly
without thinking. Suddenly, in front of the car appeared a drunk man, and Paul ran over him. Later, in the hospital,
he swore that he would never drink again. Fortunately, the man was alive, but with both legs broken.
